Panaji : The Chairman, National Council for MSME, ASSOCHAM, Manguirish Pai Raikar on Friday met the Consul General of Indonesia, Agus Prihatin Saptono and discussed various aspects as regards the Goan industry. The Consul General of Indonesia, who is currently in Goa was briefed about the Goan pharma industry in the state.



“He also promised to help resolve issues, if any, pertaining to exports to Indonesia,” Raikar later informed, adding that the diplomat wanted a bulk drug manufacturing unit to be set up in Indonesia, especially a paracetamol plant.



“The Consul General of Indonesia has invited us to participate in the Expo to be held in October in that country, which is an annual event,” he informed, stating that “We also discussed tourism-related activities to promote Goa with Bali.”
